December 2024:

December's event was a virtual career panel hosted Dr. Thomas Regan. This event featured 5 UConn physicians. These physicians spoke about what a day in their lives looks like, how and why they chose their specialty, along with answering specific questions from accepted students.

January 2025:

January's event was a virtual panel of student leaders hosted Dr. Amanda Hernandez. This event featured students from some of our student-led organizations and institutional programs at the School of Medicine, along with answering specific questions from accepted students.

  • Student National Medical Association (SNMA)

PANEL OF STUDENT LEADERS RECORDING

February 2025:

February's event was focused on the non-academic side of medical school. This event was designed for students coming from out-of-state to give them a better idea of what it is like to live in Connecticut. This event was hosted by Dr. Thomas Regan and 6 medical students who are originally from out-of-state.

Restaurants to visit

Suggestions on how to find housing

Some examples of where current students live

 

MED STUDENT LIFE IN FARMINGTON
